For all of the love Emerald Fantasy Tracks gets (and deserves), for me this 12" is the quintessential Lone release. People often talk of Lone's classic house sound, but what's most striking about this is its ardkore aesthetics--the pitched-up diva sample in "Raptured," the chord stabs in "Once in a While." The remixes are good but not ear-catching, but the two original tracks are genuinely arresting: memorable, melodic, working with established sounds but coming across like nothing else.
