The original is great fun, but the remix with peaches comes into its own in a club with its cool lo-fi vocals. "Grab my shaft, blow my horn, when its hard in the early morn". Great stuff.
Something about Louie Austen’s voice just brings a smile to your face. Perhaps it’s the Frank Sinatra-like qualities of it, or the fact that’s he’s singing some rather smutty tracks. Whichever, Amore is a good introduction to him. The title track of the single is club-ready, a summery vibe that takes you on a pleasure cruise with a dirty old man. “Grab My Shaft,” with Peaches, appears on his album Only Tonight, but August Enki’s mix of “Amore” skews slightly darker, and more minimal. Go for the more fun original.
