Octogonal is by far the best Luciano's work to date.
This techno (?) masterpiece has a scrupulous beat programming joined with just an example of the majestic artistic skills owned by the swiss master.
The use of the instruments (an excellent tool) is impressive.
The attention for details is stunning, the build-up is fancy and elegant.
A deep, sharp and melancholic melody will take you to a soulful listening experience. It creates in me a surreal feeling of resignation and solace... Something hard to describe.
The main synth will sting you suddenly, giving you several whispers.
Some tribal/latin-influenced percussions (simply amazing) fuses with the sophisticated groove in the second half of the track.
I can't imagine Luciano's discography without Octogonal.

Fantastic record, especially the outstanding "Octagonal". A deep and epic track, comparable to the best Basic Channel tracks - but with a sharp and jazzy percussion.

This one must be played as loud as possible.
