Luka Baumann awakes the middle age dungeon keepers and laces them with a lethal torture soundtrack. Crack the pavement and throw molotov cocktails at Lucifer, strap on your seat belts and lock the safety pins.
It is like you took David Lynch's Elephant Man and conveyed the visual aspect in music. Ugly, rotten, scary, distorted, but bloody amazing, and above all - loveable!
Uvod & Mrznjica starts with a bulldozer like two minute intro which creates the sensation of the largest tank you have not seen approaching at slow yet relentless velocity. The closer it gets, the harsher the sound. The music then quickly breaks into a harsh off-beat industrial bomb, with creepy background noises throughout.
The few who survive have yet to handle Boys Will Be Boys. He goes all out with this one. Rolling, head nodding drums with constant resonant effects, piercing sequences begging for mercy, various distorted chants and a horror flick three minute outro with haunting melodies and something that can only be described as field recordings from Michael Myers' backyard! Awesome. Great industrial techno for the new millenium. Fans of the BMB project, Downwards or E Com and all its sublabels need to hear this. Cross that. This is an obligatory stop if you like mischievous sounds in techno. In brief, this release is a hoot!
