1666" (Pyro-Maniac Mix) The A side is the main track on the 12"inch .It's the first release of Mark Ryder later responsible for many Breakbeat, Drum and Base/Two Step tracks released under just as many aliases The same counts for Co-producer Dave Lee who is probably best know for his work under the name Joey Negro.The sound of 1666 is very spooky,deep and much different than the Chicago based acid sound played at the time A Penetrating scream in case you wasn't listening and a fine string sequence makes it complete for me .I always loved the track even after 20 Years.A nice early Transmat release (actually licensed from Republic Records)worth having in your collection.The B side is much in the style of Side A but less sticky ,still a good track considering the age.Anyhow a must have for collectors of old Classic's
