As for playing in today's moderne club/bar this is far too undergound & dirty for the souless digital generation, The M Rules is classic Chicago hypnotic Acid House whilst Magic Feet(Org.) is a play on Lil' Louis "The Original Video Clash" these are the two tracks for me. Still a classic all round E.P in my opinion for real House Music people.

"fillers", "dated", "useless", not playable? I don't know what's up with you people. For me these are 8 straight killers, completely timeless. Fantastic record.

After reading the other reviews i had to comment myself. This release is one of the finest examples of Chicago House recorded. All the tracks are great though i have my favorites. Firstly Magic Feet - most people are more familiar with the acid version but i love this brutal, lo-fi original mix. Next Soothe My Soul, this was a big track at Steve Bicknell's infamous Lost parties in London, a very heavy acid track. Next The M Rules - great lead synth line. i heard this out recently and on a big system this track killed it! Lastly Self Preservation, another acid bomb from Mr Dunn, then again he is a master of the 303 - just check his other tracks like MD3, Personal Problems and Born to Freak with Steve Poindexter.
Timeless music that people will still play and be inspired by for many years to come.

The track that stands out - at least if talking playability @ todays moderne club, like Panorama Bar (Berlin) is clearly Piano Houze.

Rest is completely dated and useless as anything but a collectors item/old memories.

"It Ain't Goin One" is a simple SIMPLE track that just drives me nuts! it's got that classic chicago acid bassline and 4/4 808 beat with hand clap/snare/tom tom accents, it mixes well with ANYTHING it is without a doubt a TRACK THAT MOVES YA! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED JUST FOR THIS TRACK I cant say enough good things, it never gets old, timeless this one track. Other tracks here are filler.
