This one of those rare 'one-in-a-million' records.
One that is a universe on it's own...
Clearly influenced by old hardcore (Suicidal Tendencies) and death metal (Deicide), MDK takes you on a journey that touches almost every style of music imaginable. Their moody and emotional music bears to mind the best of acts like Boards Of Canada, Four Tet and Fennesz while playing around with reggae, jazz, dubby techno and postrock.
Their hardcore-roots are revealed by putting some broken and/or fucked-up sounds in almost every track on this album!
It takes a while to get a grip on this one, but when you do it'll prove a friend for live!
This is for all you musical adventurers!
So go and get to know this stranger...

Spectacular. The most dynamic album that I've purchased this year. Please note: Track 4 is a remixery-fuckery of Deicides 'Bastards Of Christ'.
