This record is definitely the climax (and sadly one of the last)of Wolfgang Voigt´s "analog" records (another favourite of that period:Rosenkranz on Säköh)before he changed to the stripped down and totally reduced Studio1 stuff and the later "funk on crutches" stuff (he self once gave it the name -in the German Mag Frontpage I think)on Profan.
i simply love the tracks. They´re kick-ass funky, minimal but never boring and every sound still is freshand funny(maybe because Mr Ink always has a kind of tongue in cheek approach to the music compared to Chain Reaction/Hawtin and many of the other artsy-fartsy 'we´re so minimal' guys.)I think some tracks have been rereleased on the Kreisel Singles collection but sadly this isn´t available anymore, either.(as far as I know).
