referencing All That Glitters, CD, Album, FT 044

MRI's sophomore full-length is just plain fun. Their unique blend of the minimal German techno aesthetic with elements of filtered disco, funk and house is very appealing to me. And they've done it a lot better on "All That Glitters" than they did on "Rhythmogenesis" (which is a solid affair in its own right).
There's not a track on the cd I dislike, but 'Next Step' has some of the catchiest basslines and keyboard rhythms I've heard in a long time, is thoroughly danceable, and never fails to put a smile on my face.
