Maarten van der Vleuten - TZ 2

This TZ release is the best for sure, smooth but kickin'. the series starts,as usually with her no. 1, which seems to bee a mixture of chicago techno from around 90 with a touch of an idea of psy- or tribal trance. No.2 then went more in the direction of uplifting morning tech-house. The bass is well tempered, a little bit like early 21th century minimal kicks from Luciano or Villalobos. Also hi-hats and synths could be found in this context. The main difference is, that on this record all of the sounds are playing a game: hey lets try out and have some fun, no categories needed. Like almost all of the tunes from the early 90's. i only can recommend this if you have the chance to get it.

in my opinion this is definitely the best release of the TZ series. classic deep techno in a very "detroitish" style, reminds me a bit of early B12 or Carl Craig stuff...
