Macc & dgoHn ‎– Some Shit Saaink

Cold and fierce: that's how best to describe Macc & dgoHn's debut album SOME SHIT SAAINK. The beats filter in slowly on "7C 1020," but when they arrive, amidst the creepy synths, it's like a lizard slithering under your floorboards -- until it bursts forth to attack. The angular harmonics continues onto "Long Tall Sally"; in fact, they're almost a hallmark of this album. "Mustard Greens" rattles around with its beats, while "Forget Stuff" returns to haunt the ear canals. "Yut" has much more throb and clatter to it, and "Ascorbic 403" starts off with nothing but the drums, but the long tones and chopped bits of voices start creeping in. Some strong darkstep.
