Hi-tech Dreams is one of the best tracks I've ever heard in quite some time. Flawless harmony and melody, mysterious vocals, and crisp drum machine sounds flow together amazingly. Underground Resistance is still a label of never ending quality and always achieves sonic perfection with this release being no exception. Pick this up for the A-side alone, don't hesitate.

The idea behind this track from what I can remember from Mad Mike's words from an interview on the Slices Magazine DVD was that kids in inner cities (not just Detroit) need to have 'hi-tech heroes' meaning people who use technology to improve lives and increase the flow of information. He wants kids to grow up wanting to use things such as the internet, instead of having kids idolizing the artists who appear in other forms of music that encourage kids to drive expensive cars and put gold in their teeth.

The A-side 'Hi-tech dreams' features a picture of GM's headquarters also known as the Renaissance Center. The B-side 'low-tech reality' shows a picture of a long abandoned burned down house on Warren Avenue in Detroit. Brilliant art, brilliant message, even more brilliant music.

These three absolutely brilliant tracks have been composed by Mad Mike Banks with his fellow member of the Interstellar Fugitives Agent Chaos whose voice can be heard on both b side tracks.
The A side is full with one track named "Hitech dreams" which linked to the image of the Renaissance center in Detroit embodies the hope of a better future given by technology. The b side shows two downtempo tracks and the image of a wrecked house illustrating the present of a poor and forgotten area of Detroit.
A magnificent evocation of inequalities in today's USA and a powerful ability to make you shiver with emotion whilst listening to the deeply inspired music : Mike Banks is still the best !
