Maik Loewen - Ein Jahr Ein Monat

Simply put "Ein jahr, ein monat" is a beautiful "schaffel" track. Everything, especially the bassline builds perfectly on/around the shuffled rhythm, resulting in a sweet but never cheesy, great uplifting minimal/techno track, that makes the sun shine inside regardless of the weather outside.

"Apparat" on the B-side, focuses less on schaffel tactics but more on depth. The percussion sort of seems to have taken over the role of the bassline blending perfectly with the rhythm. After the intro things are taken deeper with a warm analogue sequence, deep strings and other (delicate) sounds. Yet again an excellent, nice minimal/techno track.
