- I am listening for the first time as I am writing the review. I bought it because I really like the the main track "Step Like Pepper", which I believe I either bought online or from some compilation and used it in a mix. It's got a really awesome feel and rhythm.
I was hoping the Album would give me more of that and it does sound great. I really dig "Dub Temper". Most other tracks are a bit slower. While writing this, I realized that the track is missing on the LP version - I got the CD.
All the tracks got this nicely saturated sound (presumably from reel-to-reel tape) and playful rhythms.
It's a keeper in my book, absolutely no regrets. Will take good care of it.
