I received a whole load of music one evening, and sat 5 hours straight listening, trying to find some good sounds.
I tell you, that there is nothing more irritating than to spend so much time, and come out with nothing...
but then, just as I was about to give up this EP suddenly lands in my ears and it immediately revived any energy that I lost (or I thought I lost).
The key in Manoo's releases is the high hats in my opinion, forcefully drawing energy from you that of coarse, you are more than willing to give.
The mean basslines, straight forward deep house (if I may say) that has very little components within the tracks, but as a listener, you have lot to receive once you catch on what art is being portrayed through this type music.
The tracks usually start in this ripe mood which is unorthodox, but unique and a skill which is not easy pull off, which further emphasizes how truly amazing this EP is.
The tunes I felt spoke to me were Koko & Please: Cannot image a deep house set without playing one of these tracks, cannot image life without them!
