For me, this promo EP is a perfect sampler with some of the greatest early Mansun tunes, I don't need much more by them.
Take It Easy, Chicken is a Madchester type rocker with breakbeats and distorted guitar, quite slow but enormously driving. Flourella has the same effect but does it with louder guitars and psychedelic vocal melodies. Ski Jump Nose comes up with gorgeous guitar melodies and keeps the pressure high; only Stripper Vicar has a more relaxed tone. On Stripper Vicar the verse is utterly beatiful, and I also like some of the guitar work later into the song, but sadly parts of the chorus ruin for me what could be a full-on winner. As much as I already liked Stripper Vicar the week it appeared, I'd have suggested to include Wide Open Space instead of it to make this a truly perfect EP.
