Holy schnitzle. This thing rocks! Completely deep, epically haunting, these tracks will just pick you up and rip you open. Nothing to do but surrender and cry at the sheer majesty they conjure.
DeeDee's.. takes us on a slightly aquatic dub trip until the so fat drums drop and a sad/sweet melody takes us up. it oozes suffering, hurt, and the sheer beauty of heart-ache.
Slow Movements of.. starts with some rolling jazz-sound drums and floats along with some nice strings. A piano kicks in and our epic, ever morphing journey of steve reichian kalimbasand guitars begins. Majestic and understated. How do they do it?
The Invisible.. is just so fat it hurts. I will not and cannot begin to describe how amazing this track is on so many levels. This is what robot kids break to. Like plugging your brain into God.
Sometimes my.. shuffles along on fast keys and broken beats, slowly gathering density as new rythms weave into the track, morph, speed up and drop out. An inspiring and (dare I say?) tidy track, that splits open half way and throws the fattest of bass squiggles down, before it brings the goodness back and sets you down softly. It'll set yer head straight, flush your meds!
