Marcus Intalex - Afrikaa / Bridge The Gap

As usual, a great release from Marcus Intalex and the Soul:R camp. "Bridge The Gap" is a funky electro/drum n bass concoction with dark bass stabs and a nice vocal throughout. It reminds me a bit of Aztec Mystic's classic techno track "Knights Of The Jaguar". On the flip is "Afrikaa", a wonderfully crafted jump-up/tribal hybrid. Rolling bass, funky percussion and minimal synths make for a fantastic jump-up tune with longevity. This is highly recommended.
