Classic track and one that was at the forefront of the "Liquid Funk" DNB movement paving the way for acts like Calibre and High Contrast.

Ahh! I remember this, how could I forget... an unwinding intro, sassy vocals, driving rythmic beats, pumping, lifting the dancefloor to euphoric heights and as in midtempo if you listen closely you'll hear the sonar as it beams, as if its found its place rumbling beneath our feet, rolling out pulsating drums to a frenzy, no D-n-B dj's record box will ever be complete without this gem...keep it close, sleep with it, take a bath with it, take it to work, grocery, or car shopping dont let it go....

In one word ESSENTIAL. It had never left my record box, too. I've played it as the last tune in my set on my last official party alongside Drumagick guys a year ago - October 2004. Don't know if it's only Brazilian guys who are recognizing the quality, but DJ Marky is another one who is in love with this track - when we have played in Belgrade, Serbia in February 2002. first I have played it in the warm up set for him and Stamina, then I have borrowed it to him to play it during his set, than afterwards, playing back 2 back he asked me to play it once more and we were whistling all of those short passages - pianos, saxophones, and immitating with our fingers in the air appropriate moves of the "instrumentalist". Wicked tune - so many memories sticked to this one.
I want all of them wannabe M.I.S.T. fans to stop pointing their fingers on the 9 by 9, Midnight, Nimrod, etc. and start giving the respect to the "How you make me feel" as the best production of the M.I.S.T. of all the times.

ALSO - the other but nonetheless great track "Neptune" is one hell of a track - building extraordinary with those pads and switchin' to some crystal clear tearout production in a few bleeps of synth - what a track! And someone said this has been produced in the past century (1999.) - I wonder... :? (Marcus pull that godd**n timemachine out of your garage! #%@! ;D

"How You Make Me Feel" never left my record box from the week it came out until i quit spinning drum and bass in '01. A timeless classic, mellow and deep with the occasional vocal sample. It's all about the pads though, they move oh-so-nicely : )
