10 years after we can say without risk that this is a solid, classic techno album with enough groove and subtlety to remain timeless. I want to emphasize on 'The Alien Spoke', a perfectly-titled, deep and menacing beauty that defines in itself the concept of 'spooky techno'.

This is by far the best album from Mark Broom to date. 8 well arranged Detroit-influenced techno tracks. This album has it all: it’s great stuff for listening and great stuff ‘for the floor’ as well. Mark uses a lot of tribal and funky ingredients in his tracks but he uses them in a proper, subtle way, so the depth and ‘dreamy’ mood is maintained. Classy stuff!
