This was the first Vinyl i ever bought. I first heard this track on German breakfast television while i was over there in 1994 and thought it was really good, but unfortunately it wasnt released until after i returned to the UK. I promptly forgot about it, and was somewhat surprised when 9 months later, on my first visit to my local dance music speciailist, it was sat there in the rack!
Love song is a stomping tune, i would say that it was hardcore, but, like a lot of German pop releases of that time, seemed to take elements from both hardcore and Hard Trance (A Style we now call Hardstyle) to create a new Eurocore/Euro-trance sound. Its certainly recognisable as Mark Oh, from the pounding beat to the bleepy Euro synth sounds. The femal vocal on the track (Something that always seems to atract me to a release) is not too long and is quite uplifting, leading perefctly into the main riff! In my opinion, this is Mark Oh's finest track and something that any Trance/Hardcore fan should have a listen to!
