After a healthy number of mp3 releases under his belt, plus two CD albums, Marat Shibaev aka Martin Schulte releases this attractive 3" CD. With limited numbers, snatch this up while you can or you'll regret it. What begins with a haunting atmospheric landscape called "Seaside," ends up taking no prisoners with solid dub techno tracks in style that reminds me of Monolake, Porter Ricks, or Alka. "Far Away" has a dark, aquatic feel overall and picks up where Schulte's "Depth of Soul" album left off. The crescendo "Lunar Empire" is my personal favorite, having a similar sound to acts like Marko Fürstenberg, Sustainer or Octex. Excellent release!
