Master H - Mayflower

The B1 track "Magic K" is a brilliant excursion into the deeper realms of tech house, but it manages to retain a funky element throughout. The groove is based around a catchy bassline, that seems to capture the sound and vibe of an early 80's post-disco synth, and drums that mix electro kicks with more traditional house percussion. After several measures, the tune picks up with a clean melody on a guitar, that seems to shimmer over the loose bassline. When the strings come in halfway through, you're already blissfully lost in the song. It builds and builds, and then descends into a DJ-friendly outro.

"Magic K" is an hidden master piece on this record.Master H is well known for playing a pumpin house music, however "magic k" is pure tech-house tune.Deep and funky,you shouldn't underestimate the power of this cut.
