Well, what can we say about it ? Definitely the best MAW track and the best garage tune. Some people wont agree with me but, the style, the construction and the voice of India are so different, so new at this time (early 90's) that make this track fresh and pumpy. I still play it often and everytime it's a souffle of fresh air and nostalgia. I can only recommend all the soulful dj's to have it in their collection. Check also the 95's mixes which are great but not better than the original !

And in came the power of KenLou.
This is one of the classic songs that prbably locked in and solidified Minneapolis love for house music and wailing diva's.
In the middle of proggy house, techno and the lean that Minneapolis was going on with hardcore came dj's like E-Tones who played the tar out of this record always always to wicked response. Along with Dajae; one of many records that helped close the gap between the straight and gay dance music lovers in Minneapolis and brought the two floors together.
Kevin Cole was doing it with his stategic booking of the early Depth Probe events, but without kickass djs playing kickass anthems like this. It wouldn't have been quite so easy to pull off.

The limited edition of I Can’t Get No Sleep ‘95 offers even more mixes than the first one, as well as full mixes, rather than edits. But is it something you need? Probably not. The Choice Hip Hop Mix is a great alternate imagining of the song, but the Dreamin’ Mix and Indy’s Tribin’ Mix don’t necessarily add anything. One takes out the drums and the other takes out everything except the drums. "I Can't Get No Sleep" is still a great song, however, but this single is for completists only.

The Masters at Work classic gets the remix treatment by… Masters at Work, mostly, with David Morales and Marc Kinchen (MK) pitching in. The first of two singles, I Can’t Get No Sleep ‘95 starts with a sultry hip-hop mix, with India getting whispery instead of orgasmic. David Morales throws some old-skool pianos into the fray, while MK parcels out the vocals in his own distinctive style. But instead of those two, go straight to the No Sleep in ’95 Mix, an updated version of the classic, which holds up very well by adding a brass section to augment India’s whoops. India adds additional lyrics, but that’s just icing on the cake. A great song all the way around.
