An interesting 80s "cold wave" album from France. The best song is "Jungle Hurt", which features the most delirious string and brass arrangement ever recorded by anyone ever. Some of the other songs are "motoric" New Wave, but even then, there's sonic exploration.

I bought "Les Visiteurs Du Soir" back in the 80s, on the basis of a glowing review by Smash Hits journalist Neil Tennant. I hope this album gets re-released soon. It's truly a lost treasure.
