Merzbow's Frog+ is a fantasia of electrified frogs, squealing and croaking at perfectly timed positions on some tracks, whilst on others, they leap into the error-filled world of Satanstornade (Masami Akita + Russell Haswell) and churn out vortexes of electrically-charged noise that sounds oh-so-wrong but miraculously gels as a whole. The sampling and compositional talents of Mr Akita is evident in this powerful two-disc compendium. The screensaver is of little value, unless you think it's cute to frighten your colleagues in the office.
