It this is a GOLD pressing? I don't think so! PDO in the U.K has a serious problem with bronzing CDs. For me it appear to be a bronzing problem CD instead of a GOLD.

It's hard to say if this is the best or worst Metallica album. It has a lot of great songs but the only ones that stand out to me are "The Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters", both seem like attempts at recreating a "Fade To Black" vibe. It's definitely their most commercial album and probably the album that made them a more mainstream band than Master of Puppets did. For what it's worth, it's not as bad as some haters like to say, but it's also very overrated in my opinion. But I suppose there's a reason you only hear songs from this album on the radio nowadays, it IS the Metallica album that has survived longer than their other work, even if "Kill'em All" will always be their best album in my opinion.

The biggest piece of shit ever written by Metallica! I dont know if it is because they enlisted Bob Rock (WANKER) to ptoduce this album or if it is because they got lazy. Real dissappointment. I Know many people like this album and defend it but it is a pice of shit. Sorry all u Metallica die hards out there. I'd rather listen to myself take a shit than have to listen to this garbage.

Not the bands best work, this album suffers from beginning to end. It has one or two good tracks. Heavy substance abuse by band mates(as documented in 2004 the Metallica documentary). states that this album was void of the same time focus as on past works. Most people agree this was the lowest point for the band musically. Regardless, any black blooded Metallica fan will love it either way. If your collecting this bands library, buy this one last.

This is definitely "THE ALBUM", the best album ever made, don't matter in wich musical taste you are, you must love this LP.

I can't actually find any better tracklist everywhere...
I mean, this album starts with "Enter Sandman" (that's also my Metallica's favourite track), and destroy your mind until the magic C2, "Nothing Else Matters", that makes an huge break trough heavy guitars and massive drums, to start again with an extra addictive track that is "My Friend of Misery", and to end exactly how it should with "The Struggle Within".

This is a MUST HAVE!!!
