Great track! The beat was taken from "Monica Thornton - Give It Up", a 1982 disco track. The B-side of Monica's 12" got even more percussion (and less of her vocals). The original "Interplanetary Music" song by Sun-Ra, can be found on his LP "We Travel the Space Ways", originally released in 1956! Also bluegrass band "Bad livers" did a cover of this track, which is really neat! Anyway, Mickey Moonlight did a great job merging these tracks together. And with his own input he raised the track to an interplanetary level!
