This EP is not just one of Micropoint's best, but i'd say a landmark release of French hardcore.
You have "Hardbreak", which is a great clean, techy track which I'd say had a clear influence on, amongst others, the Deathchant sound. "Triceratops" is a bit rougher, but still remains a solid hardcore track. Then there's "Massaila Trash", which is in a similar vein but with an increase in tempo.
But the best is saved for last, with "Armor Battle", which is a brutal piece of hardcore running at about 250 bpm, which manages the rare trick of being full of distortion and evil metallic squealing, but without losing any of the track's impact, a testament to Micropoint's production.
As far as classic hardcore goes, you'd be hard pushed to top this!
