Mike Dehnert is all about powerfull "dark" techno music. I haven't heard a lot of his discography but nonetheless this EP deserves a comment. A1 Biface is (for me) all that comes to my mind when I think of some of Berlin's nightlife moments. Please, don't misunderstand, in Berlin there's everything that I love about this electronic techno music, and this review for this great EP can't be bottom line. But after being in Tresor (he wasn't djing that day, I don't remember... and I've read he's been a regular), this awesome piece of body rythm art is totally perfect. The chords are deep as hell, they totally arrive to your heart if you like dancing and of course the 4x4 kick. That's enough I want but at about 1:44 min. this techno-funk "whatever you wanna call it" HAT gives the track everything you wouldn't expect but all of a sudden you're into some serious stuff that is totally straight music. If you close your eyes while listenning on this you're gonna do everything but dance, and well, I can't really express how amazing this sound is.
