Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5
Review by Dr_Malsain Aug 03, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
Miroslav Pajic (better known as Miro) has been one of the main German hardcore producers and has done a variety of projects. Together with Marc Trauner (better known as Marc Acardipane) he was the creator of the PCP-sound. On this album some downtempo hardcore and techno material. All tracks are nice productions (although I'm not very keen on the Smash?/Tschabos releases) and thus no fillers on this cd.

The real highlights on this album, to my opinion, are 'Master Of The Universe' (dark and slow, stabbing kicks), 'Purple Moon'(beautiful atmospheric techno track), 'Dimension Of The Doomed' (smashing co-op with Guillaume Leroux) and 'Bass Machine' (straight to the face mindblower). You could say this album shows most of the different (slower) styles of Miro. The only downside is that it contains too many recent tracks from the Acardipane label and so leaving out older but better releases from the mid 90's. For that you could check the album 'Miro Pajic - 1993-1999 Selected Highlights And Unknown Worx'.

Faster material of Miro can be found on the album '... Like A Raging Bull' which contians some doomier material, including his doomcore hit '96 Knights', released on the well-known Kotzaak Records.
