This album is different from Mitchell Akiyama's later ones in that it is less sparse. Intr_verse covers a range of styles, some of which are busier and more beat driven than the average MA track. This features some machine-like or futuristic sounding drums for some tracks and other organic ones. 'i tride' starts off slow and the drums build up to a frenzy while the melodic parts stay slow. About 6 of the tracks are 15 sec - 1 min in length, but the length of the CDr is still 67 min. Overall I'd say its percussion lacks a little in originality compared w/ later stuff, but the tracks are still interesting.
