Imagine yourself alone on nightwatch duty on a dimly lit starship bridge. You've put up your feet on the nearest console and are staring into the void of space. Apart from the slow hum of fresh air being pumped through the ventilation system you are listening to the constant beeps from the various panels and controls around you. Fuel pressure... ok, hull temperature... ok, life support systems... ok, thruster vector... ok, fueslage stress level... ok, ok, ok...
Gobi is a fairly long piece of noodling ambient of the glitch and clicks variety. It is a nice companion but really fails to produce any memorable moments.
You are in the middle of a field. It is dark, but a warm breeze sweeps across your skin. Insects flit about, some of them hefty buggers. In the forground squats a large modern factory, lit by random spots, and red flashing lights. Deep bass thumps from hightech production activities drift over the field to you, along with the sounds of sporadic steam gushes. As time goes on activity from the factory dies down, as does the wind.
