This is just one QUALITY record. Think of the funkiest, sexiest Jazz meets Disco with some Deep, broken House mixed together in a cooking pot and you get this wonderful track.
Shame it's such a bugger to mix (for DJ's), as it takes a few minutes to get into the track, and the drums start off so quietly, but this seems to be the case with a lot of Moodymann tracks. Still, this is probably his best release and this track will appeal to the more sophisticated dancefloors, and those who just love good music.
If only there were more House artists like him, as he provides a nice antidote to some of the cheesier mainstream stuff out there.

Everything about this record is straight from the gut. Every time i hear this record, i see Mr Dixon Junior in a room with a bashed-up mixer, a dicky sampler, a wild imagination and a story to tell. The way he tells it through his wildly loose and gutsy production is irrepeateably original and utterly unique.
one of kennys finest moments, if you only have one kdj release this is it. essential. this defines kdj as one of detroits leading producers. when this man gets it right there aint many that can touch him.
