I actually found this twice in a week, OUTSIDE London (4 shops in London apparently being the only ones that were given them!), and kept both cause I like it that much.
The reason, so I'm led to believe, why it was released on a so-called 'private pressing' is that the Zero 7 sample could not be cleared. It could also be that perhaps they just couldn't be bothered, so decided to limit the pressing to allay fears of being chased by the other party's record company. As with many good tracks which are released in limited amounts, it happens to make a good label/artist promotional tool at the same time of course !
(Scepticism about this kind of thing is much accepted amoungst record buyers & labels alike, so you decide... )
Kenny actually samples Zero 7 for the vocal, its lifted off their first 12" and the track is called 'This World', Kenny pitches the vocal down to deliver a true bred house classic, deep, dark Detroit grooves, unmissable....
this track is actually on Theo's Eclectic Asthetic 1. it's track 11, after bob marley - concrete jungle & before roy ayers - life is just a moment pt. 1 (lp: mystic voyage). the word 'shattered' repeats throughout. it's got that real down-home jazz/blues feel.
