This track is so very reminiscent of the early Digweed days. Living here in Brighton, i've been lucky enough to attend pretty much every Bedrock night that was hosted at the beach club and this tune was a regular!
It's a very morbidly brilliant track from Phil Thompson aka Moonface. Deep plodding vibe with vocals "The doors in your mind" revolving around your head just like the track intended. This tune was Digweed all over and features on Digweeds "Global Underground - Hong Kong" mix.
I just love this tune, the production is spot on.
Overactive -
This is a bit more "robot funk" if i may say so. A BOOM - CLICK - BOOM - CLICK groove like a robot marching parade. It's minimalistic but works so well. This track features on ANTHONTY PAPPA - NU-BREED CD.
All in all, probably one of my favourite releases on Bedrock. A must buy.
