Same here, avoid this pressing.
Man, what a shame to make shitty reissue like this!

Undoubtedly the greatest and weirdest major label release of all time. I can't believe Warner Brothers put this out at the same time as dealing with shit like the Chili Peppers.
A very strange and surreal album, lots of oddball jazz, surf, ambient atmospherics, middle eastern techno and a bit of classic Spruance Death Metal at the end. The best album Mr. Bungle did. Anyone who like the absurd should get a copy of this. I don't know what the guy is saying about remasters, i haven't heard the new vinyl but the CD is perfect and a remaster would destroy the feeling.
Perfecto!

This issue sounds completely horrible. They crammed it all on one piece of vinyl and it sounds so low that the background noise and hiss is louder than the music. You can also hear some weird buzz that alternates from one channel to the other in between tracks luckily the music is loud enough that you don't always hear it. This surely wasn't taken from the original master, in fact it sounds like it was taken from an old cassette. I own several other titles on this label but no more. I will just pony up the money for the real deal original pressings and use these for skeet shooting.

Disco Volante is undoubtedly one of the greatest underground albums in history and arguably the best of Mr Bungle's three classic LPs. Dark, murky and surreal, this sprawling opus goes from thrash metal over free jazz to doo-wop, surf and straight-up noise. Bungle's principal members Trey Spruance, Trevor Dunn and Mike Patton contribute fairly equally and much of the vibe of this record is still present in their current work, most notably in Spruance's Secret Chiefs 3 and Patton/Dunn's Fantômas. The fact that a record as strange and impenetrable as this was financed and issued by a major label is quite amusing, and it unquestionably ranks among the most bizarre albums to be released by Warner Brothers. One of the finest full-lengths of the '90s, Disco Volante is already heralded as a classic by the alternative community, and one can only hope that in future it is held in higher regard by the greater public.

Legendary Experimental Major Label release. Still holds it's weight today, but needs to be remastered. The Plain Release both green vinyl and black 180grm release SUCKS. The Sound is so WEEK that you can crank up the volume and still be barely able to hear it no matter how good your needles are. Overall if your a beginner collecting vinyl this is not too bad for the price. But Waste of money if your a True Fan.
