"Unison" is a hauntingly beautiful masterpiece. It's a sustained drone of cosmic reverberation overlaid with a nimble beat that has a rhythmic capability much greater than its perceived volume would make you believe.

Actually, this is true for most of the pieces on this album (ie Mir) and is a sign of true mastery on Murcof's behalf.

"Martes" is a great album to put on while studying/reading as background music but can be equally experienced 1-on-1 via stereo headset without boredom whatsoever. The beats are complex, the arrangements are dynamic, and the rhythm I just can't stress enough - it really swings.

This would be a great way to introduce your parents to some electronica - well produced, clever, sophisticated, humble, classic.

This is where it all started for me. I was looking on the iTunes Music store just a bit bored. Then i found this release, never heard of Murcof before.
From this release my whole music taste started to change, I was listening ver often to a remix from the other release Utopia from Sutekh, after that track i discovered ambient works from Deathprod and other material that made a huge impression on me.

Anyway back to the release, the composition is just incredible generated.
Pure classical movements combined with very trippy electronic soundscapes is what this record contains, and that is how i like to hear it.
Some tracks like Memoria and Mapa are having frequenticly a very high level, what makes you almost turn the volume a bit down.

This is really a beautiful record.

Possibly one of the very best electronic albums of all time. Murcof's Fernando Corona works minimal modern classical samples into subtle micro beats and clicks to create an album full of emotions.
