Notes

Tracks 1 to 13 originally appeared on Uzbekistani Bizzare And Souk DAT (STDAT 004).
Tracks 14 to 17 originally appeared on Izlamaphobia double CD (muslimlim 001).

Hand numbered limited edition of 1000 copies in a digipak printed on a hand-fed letterpress.
100 more copies were book-bound and wrapped in a Palestinian flag, with a palestinian coin and a Muslimgauze button.
Reissued in July 2004 as an unlimited edition in a jewelcase.

The indexing used on this CD gives as a result a complete inconsistency with the original DAT: track 3 and 4 on the CD are actually track 3 of the DAT ("With Indian Rope"), thus track 5 is "Glass Mughal" on the DAT, track 6 is "The Iranian Who Found Allah", track 7 is "Harijana", track 8 is "Rouge Amin Fraction", track 9 is "Glass Mughal" and track 10 is "Takfir Ma Higra". Track 11 on the CD is actually 3 separate tracks on the DAT ("Abdul's Halal", "Paper Gulag" and "Paper Gulag") and finally tracks 12 and 13 on the CD are track 13 on the DAT ("Leboneeze"). There also inconsistencies with titles: "Takfir" on the DAT becomes "Cafkir" on the CD, and, about the tracks taken from "Izlamaphobia", this CD has "Foreshta" for "Fereshta" and "Rinash" for "Riyadh".

Reviews & Discussion

Rated 4/5

Hard & uncompromising middle eastern beats, sadly no vinyl exists as I think it would go down better among DJ's (DJ /rupture et al) than a home listening audience. Glad to see this release of a hard to find recording.
