This is quite simply disco xxx

With its futuristic acid accordion bassline and offbeat tango-ish beatbox programming, 'Hypnotic Tango' is clearly one of the most original records from the italo-disco golden era.
This tune remains one of most sampled records in techno, by Carl Craig (in 69's 'Rushed'), Bandulu ('Amaranth : Love Lies Bleeding') or DJ T among many others.

Absolutely classic track, sampled to pieces all over the place. One of the biggies in the Music Box and thus so re-released with panache on Danica. But shock : contrary to tons of unnecessary remixes this one gives an authentic 87 feel to Italo classic "Hypnotic Tango" due to the remixduties of mister Frankei Knuckles. All the original elements are left intact but subtly touched and beefed up, Knuckles just added some oldskool Chicago feel and New York knowledge and ended up with an impressive result. Not known to much people, one of my hidden little remixtunezzz !!
