Mystery Islands - Solace

OMG, what a CHOON! Simply one of last year's five best tunes! If you want to mock this, you can say the lead isn't very original, or that there aren't many surprises to the routine: the same kind of stuff you've used to hear from Ronski speed, Stoneface & Terminal, MIDOR vs Six4right, Ron van den Beuken, DJ Tatana et al. But I'llsay there's no WAY this would be mistaken for just a filler - "Solace" does stand out in the genre! Quite simply Mystery Islands took the known basics - and created something fresh. Now THAT is talent! I can esily picture this as the peak of any set by Buuren, Van Dyk or Corsten. So how come this was missed from so many compilations of 2005? The trancemasters, for example? Beats me.
