Definitely a classic EP!! Takes me back to the early Soundfactory, Wildpitch, Kilamanjaro, and Tunnel clubbing days in NYC. My favorite joint on this EP was APT # 3B (the most slept on song on the EP). APT # 3A and APT # 1B were cool songs (those were the more popular songs on this EP), but when I dj'ed at a club in Buffalo, New York in the early 90's called The Difference, during the deep house segment of my routine, I played APT # 3B. The crowd went nuts!!!! Afterwards, all the house heads at the party asked me what was the name of the song and I showed them the EP. And a lot of them had the EP, but did not venture to listen to the other songs on the EP as such. This EP is similar to the Mr. Fingers Instrumental Acid EP he released in the early '90s with titles such as Waterfalls, Slam Dance, Acid Attacks, etc. So for all the serious house heads digging for the serious house classics, this is one definitely for the library....
Pure fucking armageddon !!! I rate this at the top of dark ghetto house along with Marcus Mixx. Gloomy, dark ambience but original sounding though mainly based on TR-707 and JUNO 106 and a few samples (strings , sexy vocals) track 1b uses only one vocal OUH sample and a kick ,really a class by itself . Only a few artists managed their way in that kind of dark atmospheric melancholic journey into house . definitely electronic music at its best !!! track 1b and 2a were quite famous at their time often mixed by farley and other top DJ's

I honestly had no idea that anyone else had this record. This was my introduction to acid house (the track with the porno clips was a revelation)......it also never fails to make me smile as it brings back the mildly embarrassing, but quite funny, memory of me as a slightly geeky 14 year old buying this from Black Market Records in Soho, whilst all these cool acid-house types hung around. A few years later, I realised why they were all smiling at me and had those 'faraway eyes' ;)
