Grand Guignol Consists of eight newer works, varying from calming ambience to peculiar avant-garde / noise as Zorn & co. try their hand at compositions by the likes of Claude Debussy and Alexander Scriabine - the results on the title track and "La Cathédrale Engloutie" in particular are startling and sublime.
Tracks 9-41 are taken from the Torture Garden album and with an average length of forty seconds these tracks consist of odd grindcore experiments; imagine early Napalm Death with a Jazz twist - you will either love or hate it.
