Fantastic, amazing, outstanding... These are the words to describe this masterpiece mixed by one of the greatest djs in the world. Nick Warren can create a hard progressive set or a set with slower, trancier and tracks nobody ever heard. That's the quality makes a dj a REAL dj. My favourite cd is the second, it really impressed me since the first notes, from "Long Beach" to "Bosworth"... absolutely memorable, the best mix I've ever listened to. 5/5
I agree with the last review. It's nice to see GU back with this wonderful set. Can't stop listening to it! Perfect blend of the most current sound. I love it! Always have loved Nick's work, and this is one of his best. I too agree, his best GU work since #24. Reykjavik had a dense, atmospheric sound, which I've come to love from Nick's sets. This is similar in a more, up-to-date sound. If your a fan of Nick Warren, you MUST get this masterpiece!
What an awesome 2 disc set! I'm so happy that the GU label is back on track, sticking to it's founding principles with their key veteran, Nick Warren.
This is silky, modernised progressive house and trance music, fused in a versatile and trendy way with the neo-minimal 4/4 tech-house sounds currently doing the rounds. Very happy - the best GU mix and release from Mr Warren himself since his Reykjavik mix under GU# 24. 5/5 :)
