This is one of the most tightest arranged Latin-funk record i have heard. It is not the average high-school bands that got together, jammed & released a couple of 45's. No, this is so well produced, written and arranged that it is a must to play and listen to. The band is soooo professionaly tight, not a single wrong note played, and the complete result means that it ain't a single friggin' dud on this LP. Even 'Samba De Una Nota So' & 'El Condor Pasa' are lovely pices of downtempo soul, the latter maybe the finest downtempo cut i have ever heard in the late times. Hard to pick a favourite track but 'Ritual' is high up of all these and It's da bomb for the floor. 'Ritual' was heavily sampled by Liquid People for their track 'The Dragon', shamelessly not credited on that 12".
Oh btw.. This Omega International copy is very rare and expensive. Fetch those Lupita copies while that 500 press stock lasts. Highly recommendable Spanish Afro-Latin-Funk-Boogaloo LP!
