Already hailed as a classic by many, "A Time For Us" is a pleasant atmosphere-changing journey starting in soft and slightly menacing deep house, progressively slowing down to a totally exhausted, drugged down hip-hop beat, with pitched-down male vocals all through contributing to a both intoxicating and warm atmosphere. A nice and quite original tune, yet not entirely dispelling the "Naked Music syndrome" suspicion on Wolf+Lamb and its roaster : nice, elegant, well-designed music but too often on the verge of "generic" and "functional", ie lacking a little substance in my opinion.
