Reviews & Discussion

The Dub of Doom mix made Mark Kinchen famous all over the world. If you listen to the original track of the Nightcrawlers, back in 1992, and the remix that he delievered for them. It is nothing else but stunning. Mark Kinchen, Kerri Chandler,Todd Terry,Blaze,Larry Heard and the Masters at Work seemed to be topping each others work at the period of time.

It was a very special period in House music, because all those producers were series about making brilliant grooves and remixes. It was very difficult to keep up with them all.

However, the dub of doom mix presented on The Nightcrawlers - Push he feeling on.. Put the whole movement of House music across the world, back on the map. That is how important that remix was to House music....

Many people forget that this was released in 1992 and was an underground classic before it's commercial release in 1994, with that dreadful enhanced vocal. The Dub of Doom mix by MK is a lovely little funky deep house number and very groovy.
