Notes

Comes in slim jewel case. Not to be confused with that very similar release, which unlike the current release does not carry the "Printed in Canada" logo.

This release is also known as HALO THREE which is printed on the back of the packaging under the NIN logo.

The original versions of these songs appear on the album 'Pretty Hate Machine'.

Track 11 is a 3 second vocal clip of a woman saying "Let's hear it for Nine Inch Nails! Woo! He's good." and isn't listed in the tracklist.

Reviews & Discussion

Review by realmdemagic Dec 31, 2007
This release was put out by TVT records and not necessarily Trent. It is said that these are not really remixes, but studio outtakes. You will hear an annoying repetition throughout this single were the mixes sound too similar to each other. For example, the slate mix is an edited down version of the copper version. The sympathetic remix of Terrible Lie is an edited version of the empathetic mix, and so forth. This release also includes the Down In It remixes and the original demo version that Trent used as his demo submissions. The UK version is a far more interesting release, as it has the basic remixes and the "Opal" version, which is a newly recorded version of the song. This Halo is worth having, but you will find that half of it is skipable. 3/5
