It's worth noting that the track lengths of 'Reptile' and 'The Downward spiral' on CD 1 are different to that of the original 1994 release.

Whether you are the owner of the original release or a newbie looking for alittle sonic mayhem in your ear, this is a must have for fans of Nine Inch Nails or just audiophiles out on the hunt for something that sounds out of this world. The packaging is excellently put together, the additional photography is awe inspiring and the remastered album is an aural treat, offering a depth and richness of sound that you suddenly realise isn't on the original release of this amazing album. The second disc is a must have for the hardcore fan and probably not as essential for someone just getting into Nine Inch Nails, but once you get to appreciate the power of The Downward Spiral, you'll be glad that 2nd disc is their to help you dig alittle further down that Nine Inch Nails spiral.
