The squidgy pack was apparently a bootleg... even if it was, it's one of the rarer versions out there and well worth getting if you find it! Knew I shoulda bought it when I saw it all those years ago!
I also heard (and saw for myself) that the packs deteriorate and if you're unlucky, the fluid will eventually leak out and evaporate. Leaving white dust behind (the solid residue in the water)...

Definitely a cool collection, but I wish it had all the same tracks as the deluxe CD version (the devonshire mixes and live at the paramount are only available on CD) the artwork also isnt as complete as the CD version.

The difference with other releases is the distribution of the songs, 8 for the A side and 4 for the B side, that was because right after the track 4 in the B side (Something in the way)comes the track known as "Endless nameless" A.K.A the bonus track on the first cd pressing for "Neverminnd" US release.

- Tell me if i'm wrong, but the basis of all modern music is based of this (or at least should be). Ok, maybe it should not because variety is good. These songs sound as good today as the first time, I heard them on the radio years ago. You put this baby on your player and you are greeted with, Smells like Teen Spirit, In Bloom, Come as you are. That's as strong a first three songs as there may ever be. After the radio friendly smash's you are greeted with "Breed", hey isn't that the song from that Nintendo DS game? Yeah.... my friend, I think you are doing it wrong. "Breed" introduces the new Nirvana fan to the fuzz side of Nirvana. Lithium, another mega-hit. Hey, is this a greatest hits album? NO! Side 1 closes with "Polly" the softer side of Nirvana. On the first side you get to come full circle.
It does not get any better than this.

The sound quality of this release is really bad. I sent it back immediately. It was sourced from the over-limited 2011 digital master. Avoid this pressing!!!

Cheers for the pointers, it's not obvious where the number is -462- and have now found the download slip...although have already ripped the cd's.....
Overall not as nice as the 20th edition Bleach, no booklet (although it would be identical to the super deluxe a would expect?) and would have prefered the live set again to the demos.
